Beloved Ghanaians, Happy New Year. I warmly welcome you
to 2024. I am grateful to God for granting us this year.
This new year is the beginning of that dream burning in you
for expression. It is the time to reset the usual way of doing
things and, also, answer that deeper call to pound a new path
to a new world of possibilities.
Beloved Ghanaians, I am deeply excited and extremely
confident about 2024. It beckons us to uphold the higher
spirit of patriotism and stronger optimism to collectively work
together to take the development of our dear country to the
next phase.
In this election year, we will put another building block on top
of our over 30 years of democratic governance which is the
envy of others. I know we will once again prove to ourselves
first, and then the rest of the world, that Ghana has come of
age to leapfrog the foundation of self-governance and
democracy.
I therefore admonish all of us – our party, other political
parties, movements, civil societies, stakeholders, and all
Ghanaians – that the name and heritage of Ghana must be
held in high esteem. We must do our best to keep this record.
Development thrives better only in a peaceful environment
and a cohesive society.
Let me end my message by reinforcing our government’s
commitment to better the economic fortunes of our dear
country, build resilient economic pillars, digitalize our
economy to be future-ready, and create more opportunities
for everyone who has a dream to achieve.
Welcome to the year of possibilities.
Happy New Year!
