Dr. Bawumia’s vision for Youth and Job Seekers through Job Creation and Improved Credit Systems and Business-Friendly Reforms.

Question 1: How does Bawumia plan to create more job opportunities for youth in Ghana?

Answer: Our strategy involves creating jobs through various initiatives, such as improving access to credit for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and implementing business-friendly tax reforms. By making it easier for businesses to access funding and reducing tax burdens, we aim to encourage the growth of enterprises across sectors, leading to more job opportunities for youth.

Question 2: How will investments in green energy create jobs for young people?

Answer: Investments in green energy, including renewable energy, waste-to-energy projects, biofuel production, and nuclear energy, will lead to the development of new industries in Ghana. This will create jobs in areas such as energy production, engineering, and environmental management. Young people will have the opportunity to work in these emerging sectors, contributing to a sustainable future.

Question 3: How will the expansion of TVET and complementary education programs benefit young job seekers?

Answer: Expanding Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs will equip youth with practical skills that match the needs of the job market. Through hands-on training in fields like construction, engineering, and healthcare, young people will be better prepared for employment or entrepreneurship, reducing youth unemployment in Ghana.

Question 4: How does Bawumia’s policy empower youth through mentorship and career guidance?

Answer: We will implement mentorship programs and career guidance opportunities in schools and communities. These initiatives will connect young people with experienced professionals who can guide them in their career choices, offer advice on skills development, and provide networking opportunities. This will empower youth to make informed decisions about their future.

Question 5: Are there plans to engage youth in international roles?

By providing training and support for those interested in global affairs, we aim to prepare young Ghanaians to represent the country on international platforms, strengthening Ghana’s presence in global decision-making.
