H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Thursday October 31, 2024, began his nationwide constituency-focused campaign of the Ahafo Region in the Asunafo North, Asunafo South and Asutifi South Constituencies and has commissioned the Mim Polyclinic.
He has, in various engagements with Chiefs and Stakeholders, shared his vision and policies for Ghana post-2024 which include the District Agric Mechanization Centres, soft loans for women traders and the Women’s Empowerment Fund, training of 1 million youth in IT skills, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, expansion of educational infrastructure, tax amnesty, harnessing the sun and wind to generate energy to support Ghana’s current source of energy, zero duty on the importation of solar panels, establishment of the Ghana Sports Secretariat, free tertiary education for Persons Living with Disabilities, flat tax rate, among others.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to the good people of Asunafo North, Asunafo South and Asutifi South Constituencies for their mammoth welcome and has urged them to vote for him and their respective NPP Parliamentary Candidates in the December 7 polls.
