The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Wednesday November 13, 2024, continued his ongoing nationwide constituency-focused campaign in the Ejura Sekyedumasi, Mampong and Nsuta Kwaman Beposo constituencies in the Ashanti Region.
He has met with various Stakeholders like the Clergy, Imams, Traditional Leaders, Youth and people of these constituencies, where he shared his game-changing policies for Ghana’s next chapter. The policies include tax amnesty, flat tax rate, harnessing the sun and wind to generate energy to support Ghana’s current source of energy, zero duty on the importation of solar panels, free tertiary education for persons living with disabilities, expansion of educational infrastructure, reposition Ghana’s education system towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, training of 1,000,000 youth, establishment of the Ghana Sports Secretariat, credit score system, the infusion of technology into the agriculture value chain, setting up District Agric Mechanization Centres across the country among others.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed gratitude to the people of Ejura Sekyedumasi, Mampong and Nsuta Kwaman Beposo constituencies for their massive show of support and has urged them to vote for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies in the upcoming December 7 polls, to make all these possible.
