Vice President Bawumia tours the Sene East, Sene West and Atebubu Amantin constituencies

H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Monday October 14, 2024, toured the Sene East, Sene West and Atebubu Amantin Constituencies in the Bono East Region as part of his nationwide constituency-focused campaign.

He has engaged in various meetings with the traditional leaders, clergy, stakeholders, the youth and the entire people of these constituencies on his vision and policies for the people of Ghana post-2024, which include the training of 1,000,000 youth in IT skills, introduction of a flat rate system at the ports, harnessing the sun and wind to generate electricity, zero duty on solar panels, the introduction of electronic and faceless audits by GRA, repositioning Ghana’s education system towards STEM and AI, free tertiary education for persons with living disabilities, among others.

Dr. Bawumia further highlighted on the achievements of Government which include the expansion of roads, construction of interchanges, expansion of educational infrastructure, the Ghana Card, QR code, TVET, STEM schools, Tap ‘n’ Go, mobile money interoperability, Free SHS, paperless port system, online passport application,  the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) skills training, the Bitumen Plant at Tema, Agenda 111, 1 District 1 Factory, 1 District 1 Warehouse, digitalization of membership and renewal of National Health Insurance, ECG App, Ghana Water App, among others.

He further added that, “under a Bawumia Presidency we will do even more, implementing a bold new vision, new ideas and new solutions to address Ghana’s challenges.” Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to them for their warm reception and unwavering support for his vision to lead Ghana to upgrade. He has also urged them to play active roles in deciding Ghana’s next chapter by voting massively for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies in the December 7 polls.
