The Vice President and the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu, has on Friday March 1, 2024, welcomed the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu and the leadership of the National Muslim Conference (NMC), as they presented their proposals for consideration into the NPP’s 2024 Manifesto.
Dr. Bawumia restated the NPP’s commitment into inclusive development as he presented the enormous infrastructure and other developmental projects the Government has undertaken in Zongo communities across the country, which include classroom blocks, ICT libraries, mechanized water system, entrepreneurial training, scholarships and astro turfs, funded through the Zongo Development fund, in fulfilment of the NPP’s campaign promise.
He added that, “We remain committed to the development of our country through policies and structures, and my campaign and manifesto team, are ready to consider inputs from the NMC, and other stakeholders, for our inclusive development”.
