The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Hajia Samira Bawumia, have on Thursday March 28, 2024, joined the Zongo Community in Kumasi, to observe Tafsir and Iftar at the Kumasi Central Mosque.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation for the warm reception the people of the Zongo Community in Kumasi have extended to him and the Second Lady, as well as the rest of the delegation.
Tafsir, is the interpretation of the verses of the Holy Qur’an and observed throughout the period of the Ramadan fast and, Iftar is the dusk meal which breaks a day’s Ramadan fast.
