H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Saturday August 17, 2024, joined the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) as the Special Guest, to mark its 24th General Assembly at Abetifi in the Eastern Region, themed; “Celebrating Our Heritage: Persisting in Missions”.
He has urged the PCG and all faith-based organizations to embrace innovation while staying grounded in their core values in adapting to meet the spiritual and physical needs of their members and the larger society in this ever-evolving world.
Dr. Bawumia further added that, “Government recognizes the invaluable contributions of faith-based organizations, and we are committed to working alongside you to build a Ghana where faith, peace, and prosperity abound.”
He has lauded the leadership and members of the PCG for their dedicated service to Ghana for almost 200 years.
