The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Tuesday October 22, 2024, engaged constituents of the Adaklu, Akatsi North, Agotime Ziope and Ho Central Constituencies in the Volta Region as part of his nationwide constituency-focused campaign.
He has shared his vision for Ghana’s next chapter in his engagements with the Imams, Chiefs, Clergy, Youth, Stakeholders and the people of these constituencies. Dr. Bawumia’s vision for Ghana include abolishment of the e-levy, tax amnesty, flat tax rate, expansion of educational infrastructure, introduction of the credit score system, free tertiary education for persons living with disability, training of 1 million youth in IT skills, focusing Ghana’s education system on STEM and AI, harnessing the sun and wind to support Ghana’s current source of energy thereby reducing the cost of electricity bill, free import duty on solar panels, among others.
Dr. Bawumia has further noted that, “I envision a modern, transformed Ghana anchored on bold new ideas and grounded in our collective efforts. A Ghana revolutionalized through innovations in Education, Agriculture, Health, Business, Human Resource Development, and many more.”
He has expressed appreciation to the people of the Adaklu, Akatsi North, Agotime Ziope and Ho Central Constituencies for their warm reception and has urged them to vote for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies in the December 7 polls.
