H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Saturday August 3, 2024, continued his ongoing constituency-focused campaign in the Okere and Akuapem South constituencies, in the Eastern region.
He has in various meetings engaged the Chiefs, stake holders and youth of these constituencies on his vision and various policies for Ghana post-2024, which include free tertiary education for persons living with disabilities, tax amnesty, credit score system, license for the small-scale mining sector, flat rate at the ports, training of 1,000,000 youth in IT skills, among others.
The constituents of Okere and Akuapem South have expressed great confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s vision and policies, which will further enhance development in Ghana. He has as well appreciated their warm reception, audience and encouragement.
