H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Saturday September 28, 2024, continued his constituency-focused campaign in the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira, Tarkwa Nsuaem and Prestea Huni Valley in the Western Region.
In various engagements with the Clergy, Traditional Leaders, Imams, Stakeholders and Youth, Dr. Bawumia explained his policies for Ghana’s next chapter include tax amnesty, harnessing the sun and wind to generate energy to support Ghana’s current source of energy, zero duty on the importation of solar panels, free tertiary education for persons living with disabilities, expansion of educational infrastructure, reposition Ghana’s education system towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, training of 1,000,000 youth, establishment of the Ghana Sports Secretariat, credit score system, among other game-changing policies.
Dr. Bawumia has also commissioned the Tarkwa Nsuaem Government Hospital at Tarkwa Nsuaem and the Bonsa 1D1F Project at Bonsa to improve the well-being and livelihoods of the good people of Ghana.
Dr. Bawumia has further expressed appreciation to them for their warm reception despite the rains and their unwavering support for his vision to lead Ghana to upgrade. He has also urged them to play active roles in deciding Ghana’s next chapter by voting massively for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies in the December 7 polls.
