H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Tuesday September 24, 2024, toured the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem, Abura Asebu Kwamankese, Assin South and Assin Central constituencies in the Central Region, which forms part of his ongoing constituency-focused campaign.
He has engaged the Traditional Leaders, Clergy, Imams, Stakeholders, Youth and the entire people of his vision and policies for Ghana’s next chapter which include tax amnesty, harnessing the sun and wind to generate energy to support Ghana’s current source of energy, zero duty on the importation of solar panels, free tertiary education for persons living with disabilities, expansion of educational infrastructure, reposition Ghana’s education system towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, training of 1,000,000 youth, establishment of the Ghana Sports Secretariat, credit score system, among other game-changing policies.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to them for their warm reception and unwavering support for his vision to lead Ghana to upgrade. He has also urged them to play active roles in deciding Ghana’s next chapter by voting massively for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies in the December 7 polls.
