The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Saturday October 26, 2024, commenced his nationwide constituency-focused campaign in the Krachi East, Krachi Nchumuru and Krachi West Constituencies in the Oti Region.
He has shared his vision to transform, modernize and make Ghana a more holistically prosperous country. His policies for Ghana’s next chapter include infusion of technology into the agriculture value chain, setting up District Agric Mechanization Centres across the country, tax amnesty, harnessing the sun and wind to generate energy to support Ghana’s current source of energy, zero duty on the importation of solar panels, free tertiary education for persons living with disabilities, expansion of educational infrastructure, reposition Ghana’s education system towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, training of 1,000,000 youth, establishment of the Ghana Sports Secretariat, credit score system, among others.
“The wind of limitless possibilities, grounded on a foundation of a bold new vision for national development, continues to blow ever stronger. The Chiefs and people of Oti Region are ready”, Dr. Bawumia noted.
He has thanked them for their warm reception and urged them to vote for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies in the December 7 polls.
