H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic, has on January 17, 2024, welcomed the Prime Minister of Dominica Republic, H.E Roosevelt Skerrit, to the Jubilee House, for a mutually-beneficial discussion between the two countries.
Dr. Bawumia disclosed that, “Our deliberations focused on many areas, including the importance of renewable energy mix, as well as strengthening cultural, tourism, economic and diplomatic ties between Ghana and the Dominican Republic”.
He further added that to ensure effective exchanges in the areas identified, the discussions also captured the need to ensure affordable, reliable and accessible aviation network between Ghana and the Dominican Republic and between other African countries, and the Caribbean.
