H.E Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia , Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Friday September 6, 2024, had various engagements with people in the Ayawaso West Wuogon, Madina and Adentan Constituencies in the Greater Accra Region, as part of his ongoing constituency-focused campaign.
He has engaged with the various stakeholders in these constituencies which include traditional rulers, religious leaders, the youth, and the entire people on his vision and policies which are the bold steps that Ghana needs to take into the future.
Dr. Bawumia has highlighted on his vision and policy for Ghana post-2024 to further enhance development which include the establishment of a Minerals Development Bank, free tertiary education for persons living with disability, training of I,000,000 youth in IT skills, flat rate at the ports, harnessing the sun to produce solar energy, tax exemptions on the importation of solar panels, repositioning Ghana’s education system towards STEM and AI, tax amnesty, credit score system, among others.
He has as well expressed appreciation to the constituents of these constituencies for their support towards Ghana’s journey of possibilities and has urged them to vote for him as well as the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their constituencies in the December 7 polls.
