The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Friday August 9, 2024, engaged constituents of Nsawam Adoagyiri, Ayensuano and Suhum in the Eastern Region, as part of his ongoing constituency-focused campaign.
Addressing the Chiefs, heads of religious bodies, stakeholders and youth of these constituencies, he noted that, Ghana does not need to go back to a leader who only kept 28% of his promises as President even in the absence of the sort of global economic crisis the world has faced and has urged the good people of Ghana to elect a new leader with fresh and innovative ideas to implement bold solutions for the future.
Dr. Bawumia has shared his vision and policies for the Ghana post-2024 which include tax amnesty, license for the small-scale mining sector, a Mining Development Bank, free tertiary educations for Persons Living with Disabilities, train 1,000,000 youth in IT, among others.
The Chiefs, heads of religious bodies, stakeholders and youth of the Nsawam Adoagyiri, Ayensuano and Suhum constituencies have expressed great confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s bold solutions for the future and have thrown in their support for him ahead of the December 7 general election.
