Vice President Bawumia tours the Nkwanta North, Nkwanta South and Akan constituencies, and commissions the Nkwanta North district assembly

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Sunday October 27, 2024, continued his nationwide constituency-focused campaign in the Nkwanta North, Nkwanta South and Akan constituencies in the Volta Region and has commissioned the Nkwanta North District Assembly.

He has noted that, “A Bawumia Presidency will facilitate opportunities for all Ghanaians, from the young person dreaming about the future and receiving the quality education necessary for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, to the Gobe seller at the junction who needs a little capital from the Trade Empowerment Fund, to the farmer who will enjoy the benefits of increased access to farm tools and knowledge from the District Agric Mechanization Centres.”

Dr. Bawumia has shared his vision for Ghana post-2024 with the traditional leaders, clergy, stakeholders, the youth and the entire people of these constituencies which include the training of 1,000,000 youth in IT skills, introduction of a flat rate system at the ports, harnessing the sun and wind to generate electricity, zero duty on solar panels, the introduction of electronic and faceless audits by GRA, repositioning Ghana’s education system towards STEM and AI, free tertiary education for persons with living disabilities, the introduction of the credit score system, expansion of educational infrastructure, among others.

He has expressed appreciation to the people of Nkwanta North, Nkwanta South and Akan Constituencies for their warm reception and has urged them to vote for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective Constituencies in the December 7 general elections.
