H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Wednesday October 9, 2024, continued his ongoing constituency-focused campaign in the Dormaa East, Dormaa West and Dormaa Central constituencies, in the Bono region.
He has in various meetings engaged the Chiefs, stake holders and youth of these constituencies on his vision and various policies for Ghana post-2024, which include free tertiary education for persons living with disabilities, tax amnesty, credit score system, license for the small-scale mining sector, flat rate at the ports, training of 1,000,000 youth in IT skills, among others.
Dr. Bawumia noted that, “the massive enthusiasm on display is a testament of your eagerness to help move Ghana on an accelerated path of development under a Bawumia Presidency.
The constituents of Dormaa East, Dormaa West and Dormaa Central have expressed great confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s vision and policies, which will further enhance development in Ghana. He has as well appreciated their warm reception, audience and encouragement, and has urged them to vote massively for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies.
In a separate engagement in Sunyani, Dr. Bawumia has paid a courtesy call on the the Catholic Bishop of the Sunyani Diocese and President of the Catholic Bishops Conference, Most Rev. Mathew Kwesi Gyamfi. He has expressed appreciation to the Lord’s Bishop for his prayers for him and his team.
