The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Saturday June 29, 2024, commissioned a new Mosque he funded at Sorbelle in the Sissala West District of the Upper West Region.
“I am happy today…When I made the promise to build the mosque, I prayed to Allah to make it possible and Allah said it is possible. So, I thank the Almighty Allah for making it possible to build this mosque for you”, Dr. Bawumia said.
The people in the community led by the Paramount Chief have also expressed appreciation to Dr. Bawumia, saying, “This beautiful mosque you have built for us here in the community will not only help us to get closer to our Maker, it will also turn the place into a tourist attraction. May the Almighty Allah reward and bless you abundantly for this wonderful gesture”.
