The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Thursday March 28, 2024, led the Government and party delegation, for the One Week observation of the late Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ejisu Constituency and Deputy Minister for Finance, Honourable John Ampontuah Kumah, in Onwe, in the Ashanti Region.
Dr. Bawumia noted that, “It was an emotional occasion in remembrance of the former MP and Deputy Minister for Finance.” Adding that, “May the gentle soul of John rest in peace.”
The late MP died on March 7, 2024, after a short illness. He left behind a wife and six (6) children.
