Vice President Bawumia cuts sod for the construction of the Mother Teresa Soup Kitchen

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Tuesday April 30, 2024, joined the Minister of Education, Honourable Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Minister-designate for Greater Accra, Honourable Titus Glover, Rev. Father Andrew Campbell and the Accra Mayor, Honourable Elizabeth Sackey, to cut sod for the construction of the Mother Teresa Soup Kitchen (MTSK) at Sempe Cluster of Schools in Mamprobi.

He noted that, “This will be the second Soup Kitchen run with the support of many by Rev. Father Campbell to provide at least one nourishing meal a day for the destitute and homeless children on the streets of Accra.”

Dr. Bawumia has expressed gratitude to His Royal Majesty, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, for providing the land for the project and his positive response to the request of the Education Minister.
