The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Tuesday October 29, 2024, toured the Makola, Okaishie and Kantamanto markets in Accra.
He has shared his policies for Ghana’s next chapter which include the Women’s Trade Empowerment Fund, flat tax rate, tax amnesty, lowering the cost of electricity through moving to Solar Power tax amnesty, zero duty on the importation of solar panels, free tertiary education for persons living with disabilities, expansion of educational infrastructure, reposition Ghana’s education system towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, training of 1,000,000 youth, establishment of the Ghana Sports Secretariat, credit score system, among other game-changing policies.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to them for their mammoth welcome and has urged them to vote for him and their respective NPP Parliamentary Candidates in the December 7 general elections.
