Vice President of the Republic, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has received H.E Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the US Ambassador to the UN, on December 5, 2023, at the Jubilee House.
H.E Linda is in the country for the UN Peace Keeping Conference, which is being hosted in Ghana, for the first time in Africa.
Dr. Bawumia has stated that their discussions “touched on many areas, including Ghana and United States’ shared values and principled positions on Security Council, such as global peace and security, climate and developmental issues”.
