Vice President and the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Friday, March 8, 2024, visited the home of the late Deputy Minister of Finance and Member of Parliament for the Ejisu Constituency, Honourable John Ampontuah Kumah, to sympathize with his immediate family and sign the book of condolences.
Dr. Bawumia stated that, “I had the opportunity to work with John on several projects to my greatest admiration. Indeed, Ghana and the NPP have lost a hardworking son.”
He added that, “My deepest condolences to Lilian and the children, his mother, the entire family, and all loved ones”.
Dr. Bawumia was accompanied by the Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, Honourable Akosua Frema Osei- Opare, National Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Stephen Ayensu Ntim, government officials, as well as party officials.
