The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Wednesday April 3, 2024, joined the management of the Trinity Theological Seminary and some members of the Clergy, to cut sod for construction works to begin on a four-storey, 200-bed hostel for the Seminary in Accra.
He noted that, “The multi-purpose hostel, which is being funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND), is in fulfillment of a pledge I made to the Seminary, following a request for assistance, during the school’s congregation two years ago, which I attended.”
Adding that, the construction of this hostel facility in an institution trains and instills Godly values in students, will not only tackle the challenges associated with accommodation, but will also serve as a hub for more learning and growth.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to all who have made the commencement of the project possible, which includes the management of Trinity Theological Seminary, the Honourable Minister for Education, the Board of Trustees and management of the GETFUND and the Board and Management of GTEC.
