The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Friday October 15, 2024, engaged constituents of New Edubiase, Adansi Asokwa and Fomena in the Ashanti Region, as part of his nationwide constituency-focused campaign.
He has shared his vision and policies for Ghana post-2024 in various meetings with the Clergy, Traditional Leaders, Imams, Stakeholders, Youth and people of these constituencies. Which include, District Agric Mechanization Centres, soft loans for women traders and the Women’s Empowerment Fund, training of 1 million youth in IT skills, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, expansion of educational infrastructure, tax amnesty, harnessing the sun and wind to generate energy to support Ghana’s current source of energy, zero duty on the importation of solar panels, establishment of the Ghana Sports Secretariat, free tertiary education for Persons Living with Disabilities, establishment of the Minerals Development Bank, continuation and enhancement of the Free SHS policy, among others.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to the people of New Edubiase, Adansi Asokwa and Fomena constituencies for their warm reception and has urged them to vote for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies.
