The Vice President of the Republic Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Wednesday September 18, 2024, engaged constituents of the Ada, Sege and Ningo Prampram in the Greater Accra Region as part of his constituency-focused campaign.
He has engaged with the Imams, Traditional Leaders, Youth, Clergy and the entire people of these constituencies on government’s achievements as well as his vision and policies for Ghana’s next chapter which include free tertiary education for persons living with disability, tax amnesty, flat rate at the ports, training of 1,000,000 youth in IT, harnessing of solar and wind power to reduce the high demand on electric energy, zero duty on solar panels, repositioning of Ghana’s education towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students, credit score system, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, expansion of educational infrastructure, among others.
He has expressed appreciation to them for their warm reception and invaluable advice on a more collaborative approach to national development and has urged them to vote for him and their respective NPP Parliamentary Candidates in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
