H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Saturday July 27, 2024, engaged constituents of the Bawku Central, Garu, Tempane and Pusiga constituencies in the Upper East Region, as part of his ongoing constituency-focused campaign.
He has shared his vision and policies for Ghana post-2024 which include tax amnesty, flat rate on spare parts import, establishment of Minerals Development of Bank, pension scheme for small scale miners, zero duty on solar panels, credit score system, among others, with the Chiefs, stakeholders and youth of these constituencies.
Dr. Bawumia noted that, his vision of “a safe, secure, prosperous Ghana powered by the intellect and skills of her citizenry and anchored on reforms in all sectors of our daily lives including education, the economy and social safety nets”, will further enhance development.
The Chiefs, stakeholders and youth of the Bawku Central, Garu, Tempane and Pusiga constituencies have expressed great confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy, vision and policies for Ghana.
