H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of the Republic, on August 17, 2023, joined the Church of Pentecost to dedicate an ultra-modern temple to the Lord, at Atwima- Koforidua, off the Kumasi-Sunyani Road.
The service which was held to dedicate the Church of Pentecost, Yaa Afrah Memorial Temple, was attended by the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Nyamekye, the Clergy, Traditional and Opinion leaders, and the entire church.
The ultra-modern edifice was fully funded by Nana Dr. K Gyasi and his beloved wife, Deaconess Josephine Gyasi, of the Church of Pentecost.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to them for funding this worthy cause, saying, “God bless the Gyasi family for helping spread the word of God”.
