The Vice President, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has graced the Passing Out parade of the Ghana Immigration Service’s Cadet Intake 17 as the Review Officer, on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Assin Fosu in the Central Region.
Government, he said, is committed to providing the Service with the resources it needs to carry out its mandate, “…with concrete examples such as unprecedented recruitments, three more training facilities across the country, and the procurement of arms and ammunition to better equip the officers and men”.
Dr. Bawumia has assured the Ghana Immigration Service that just like their counterparts in the Military and Police Services, Government is working to acquire specialized vehicles and equipment to equip them to meet the changing security dynamics.
The Passing Out parade, is the first Officer level graduation since the lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions.
