The Former Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and the (New Patriotic Party) NPP Presidential Candidate Aspirant, H.E. Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Wednesday June 25, 2025, joined stalwarts and patriots of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the launch of the party’s ideological institute, the Patriotic Institute, in Accra.
He noted that, “The establishment of the Patriotic Institute is welcome news to the NPP fraternity, as it will afford patriots at all levels, the opportunity to learn more about our party’s people-centered principles and ideologies, as we seek to serve our dear nation”.
The Patriotic Institute has designed a comprehensive curriculum combining core and specialized courses developed by internal and external experts. Drawing on the party’s history, values, political science, governance, law, communications, and past campaigns, the training will be delivered through in-person workshops, online platforms, mentorship, and group discussions. Regional training centers will be set up as needed. Participation is mandatory for all party executives and aspirants at every level, including Presidential and Parliamentary candidates. Certification from the Institute will be required for executive roles and appointments within the party.
