The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Tuesday April 2, 2024, joined the Muslim Caucus of Parliament, diplomats, as well as distinguished guests, for the 13th Annual Night of Power, which is observed by the Caucus in the last ten (10) days of Ramadan, to offer prayers the nation.
Speaking on the theme for this year which centered on the peace and unity of the country in the build up to the December polls, he noted that, “While acknowledging the remarkable efforts of the nation’s two dominant religious groups, in always praying for the continuous peace and unity of our country, I also urged all , to ensure peaceful election process by eschewing acts which threaten the peace and unity of our country.”
Dr. Bawumia further added that, our political differences should not result in the loss of lives, properties, and relationships.
