The Former Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and the (New Patriotic Party) NPP Presidential Candidate Aspirant, H.E. Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Monday June 23, 2025 engaged with over 200 former MMDCEs across the country in Accra.
Addressing the media, he noted that, “the meeting was appraise them of where I am and to thank them most importantly for their efforts in the 2024 election and to also ask for their support of me going forward”.
The MMDCEs have declared their support for Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming NPP Presidential Primaries in January 2026, as they strongly believe that he is the party’s best bid for the 2028 general elections.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to them for honouring his invitation and for their support.
