H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Saturday November, 2024, engaged constituents of Asante Akyem Central, Bosome Freho and Oforikrom in the Ashanti Region.
He has shared his vision and policies for Ghana next chapter in various engagements with the Clergy, Traditional Leaders, imams, Youth, Stakeholders and the people of these Constituencies which include, free tertiary education for persons living with disability, tax amnesty, flat rate at the ports, expansion of educational infrastructure, harnessing of solar and wind power to reduce the high demand on electric energy, zero duty on solar panels, repositioning of Ghana’s education towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students, establishment of the Minerals Development Bank, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, , training of 1,000,000 youth in IT skills, among other game-changing policies to further enhance development in the country.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to them for their warm reception and had urged them to vote for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective Constituencies in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
