Vice President of the Republic, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on December 31, 2023, graced the 63rd Annual Conference of the Ghana Muslim Mission in Kumasi, where he reiterated Government’s commitment.
Dr. Bawumia noted that, “Our unwavering commitment is deeply rooted in the investment we have made in providing free and inclusive access to quality secondary education, which have resulted in significant increase in enrollment from 800,000 in 2017 to the present 1.4 million students- a total increase of 600,000 students, who might have been home without Free SHS”.
He lauded the Ghana Muslim Mission for the immense contribution to the socio-economic development of Ghana over the past six decades, where it has built 165 schools at different levels throughout the country.
