Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has joined the clergy and members of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana for the induction ceremony of Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare-Kwakye, as the new Moderator of the church, on December 3, 2023, in Accra.
He noted that, “Over the 195 years of its existence in Ghana, the Presbyterian Church has been a strong and reliable partner for national development, producing many sons and daughters who have greatly impacted the nation”.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to the immediate past Moderator, Very Rev. Prof. Obiri Yeboah Mantey, for his service the to church and nation, and has wished Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare- Kwakye a peaceful and fruitful Moderatorship.
