The Vice President of the Republic, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on Saturday, July 22, 2023, joined the Ghana National College in Cape Coast to celebrate its 75th Anniversary and Speech and Prize- Giving day, as the Guest of Honour.
In his speech, he challenged teachers and students alike, not just in “GhanaColl”, but the entire country, to make use of Artificial Intelligence to address societal challenges. “…embrace the opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence to acquire knowledge and develop a mindset of possibilities, using appropriate technology to address societal challenges”, he said.
Dr. Bawumia reiterated Government’s commitment to provide the necessary policy guidance and logistics to better equip the Ghanaian youth for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
He lauded the school for their tremendous strides over the years in educating and moulding the character of students.
