The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has Wednesday October 2, 2024, toured the Suaman, Juaboso and Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituencies as part of his constituency-focused campaign in the Western North Region.
He has explained his vision and policies for Ghana post-2024 to the Chiefs, Clergy, Imams, Youth and the communities at large, which include, his policies to protect the environment, expand public infrastructure, provide better healthcare for all, expand educational opportunities for all, boost sports, creative arts and tourism and protect the boarders and keep safe neighbourhoods.
Dr. Bawumia has further added other policies like the sustainability and expansion of Ghana’s rebounding economy, provision of support to businesses to drive and accelerate job creation, the implementation of a wide range of tax reforms, the implementation of affirmative action for women and girls, measures to reduce the cost of living and a digital economic development plan.
Adding that, “the quest for a future filled with innovation and bold solutions is increasingly gathering pace, and together, I am confident that we can craft a nation filled with Possibilities”.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to them for their warm reception and unwavering support for his vision to lead Ghana to upgrade. He has also urged them to play active roles in deciding Ghana’s next chapter by voting massively for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies in the December 7 polls.
