The Vice President of the Republic Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Saturday September 21, 2024, toured the continued the Gomoa Central, Agona West and Agona East constituencies, as part of his constituency-focused campaign in the Central Region.
He has engaged with the Imams, Traditional Leaders, Youth, Clergy and the entire people of these constituencies on government’s achievements as well as his vision and policies for Ghana’s next chapter which include free tertiary education for persons living with disability, tax amnesty, flat rate at the ports, training of 1,000,000 youth in IT, harnessing of solar and wind power to reduce the high demand on electric energy, zero duty on solar panels, repositioning of Ghana’s education towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students, credit score system, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, expansion of educational infrastructure, the buy Ghana first policy, among others.
Dr. Bawumia has pledged my commitment to ensuring that everyone gets the opportunity and support to dream big and has expressed appreciation to them for their warm reception. He urged them to vote for him and their respective NPP Parliamentary Candidates in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
