H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Monday September 16, 2024, continued his constituency-focused campaign in the Amasaman, Ayawaso North and Ayawaso East Constituencies in the Greater Accra Region.
At various engagements with the Traditional Leaders, Clergy, Imams, Youth and the communities at large, he has shared his vision and policies of a bold and comprehensive plan to take Ghana to the next level of growth, with a focus on job creation, economic empowerment, and social development which include, tax amnesty, introduction of a credit score system, training of 1,000,000 youth in IT skills, introduction of digital streaming platforms for artists, easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard, introduction of solar and wind power on commercial bases, zero duty on solar panels, expansion of educational infrastructure, repositioning of Ghana’s education system towards STEM, AI, free tertiary education for persons living with disabilities, among others.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to the good people of Amasaman, Ayawaso North and Ayawaso East constituencies for embracing his bold solutions for Ghana’s future and has urged them to vote for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
