H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Wednesday July 17, 2024, commissioned an ultra-modern two-storey Ghana Police Shop at the Ghana Police Service Headquarters in Accra.
He noted that the Ghana Police Shop “…is a dedicated shop where officers of the security services can purchase additional uniforms and other items to support what they are officially provided. Police officers outside Accra can purchase the items online and have them delivered at their stations”. Adding that, the shop also sells institutional mementos, which are useful for international exchange programmes.
Dr. Bawumia has lauded the leadership of the Ghana Police Service for this innovation and has urged them to prioritize the maintenance of the facility. He has as well expressed appreciation to the stakeholders who contributed to the realization of this great innovation.
