Vice President Bawumia engages constituents of Kpandai, Wulensi and Bimbilla

H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has on Friday July 12, 2024, continued his constituency-focused nationwide campaign in the Kpandai, Wulensi and Bimbilla constituencies in the Northern Region.

He has met with the chiefs, key stakeholders and youth of these constituencies where he underscored his unmatched achievements as the most impactful Vice President in the history of Ghana which is evident that when given the mandate he will do more to enhance development and livelihoods of Ghanaians.

Addressing the people of Bimbilla, Dr. Bawumia noted that, “I am the Vice President; I’ve not been president yet and I want to plead with you, I am going to the contest with my senior John Mahama, he has been president before, and when he comes, he has only four years.” Adding that, “When I come, I have eight years, so, if you look at the presidency, do we want four years or eight? After four years, he won’t come but I will come for renewal, so please give me the chance, so that I can be accountable.”

The Chiefs in Kpandai in a statement read on their behalf said, “The people of Kpandai are proud of you for the role you have played as Vice President in helping His Excellency to implement policies that address inequalities in the country.” Adding that, “Your administration has demonstrated to the people of Kpandai that equality is a hallmark for you.” … “Kpandai has received a lot of development across the district in education, health, agriculture, among others. Kpandai Senior High School has two new storey classroom blocks, and over 7,000 pieces of furniture and other classroom blocks across the district”.
