The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Saturday July 6, 2024, joined the Ghanaian football legend, Asamoah Gyan, for the launch of the All-Regional Games 2024 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
He noted that, “This championship, organized by Asamoah Gyan in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and spanning several sporting disciplines, marks a significant milestone in our collective effort to revive grassroots sports across all 16 regions of our nation.”
Dr. Bawumia added that, as a country we can utilize the power of the sports to build a stronger and more united nation. He has emphasized on the need to support the All-Regional Games and all similar initiatives that aims at uplifting the youth and promoting national pride.
