The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Thursday July 4, 2024, presented his choice of running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, to the National Executive Council (NEC) of the NPP for their consideration in line with the party’s constitution.
The National Council has unanimously endorsed his choice of running mate. Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to the NEC for their unanimous and emphatic endorsement of his choice of running mate saying, “I thank members of the National Executive Council for their unanimous and emphatic endorsement of the astute and brilliant Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as my running mate”.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh will be unveiled in Kumasi in the coming week.
